If you guys could, please put these up in your journals. Tomorrow (07.27.03) is the 50 year anniversary of the signing of the armistice, and the situation in Korea now isn't getting anywhere near the media coverage it should; if they won't let people know, we will. Thank you.

The US military presence there for the past 50 years has been atrocious, unfortunately, and the "peace" still includes famine and poverty in many areas. You do have a point with the armstice though, it's much better than an actual war (or "police action", as they called it)

I was actually thinking of the possibility of nuclear war and all that; if there was a way to bring actual peace, that would be great as well.
